Hello,

Small issue with my L322 when I turn the heater A/C on, from time to time, the front right central vent and the front right passenger vent will stop blowing a nice cold air, but instead push a extremely hot air.
This situation only happens on right vents, nothing similar on the driver side, vents keep pushing a cool air.

Could it be the "infamous hedgehog" Final Stage Resistor losing its head? how can the A/C heater fails on one side and not the other?

Your expertise are welcomed.

Wishing you a happy new year

Hedgehog only controls fan speed so unlikely to be that.
@Saint.V8 did a post I think about the heater assembly.
I suspect its a flap moving incorrectly for some reason.

I've tagged Saint as I'm sure he's had the heater box out so will probably be able to give more help than me.
You could also use the forum search to find the post. Search for his name with the word heater or something and you should be able to find it.

Ahhh..... The jag controlled all it's heating by regulating water flow, didn't realise the L323 had valves too.

No it's an easy swop out you lose a bit of coolant so pour some down the hoses before you reconnect them bleed it all up job done.
There is small pump connected to it as well that can pack up sometimes.
