My v8 110 is currently a manual but I want to convert it to an auto using a ZF 4peed box I've looked on ebay and thers a few ZF boxes with the transfer box at reasonable prices what kind of problems will I come across during the conversion is there a certain box that will fit in easier than others any help much appreciated thanks

it needs to be a V8 autobox , you may need to change the transfer box as the auto TB will be most likely too high geared for use in a 110 (depending on your usage) You will need to get the kick down canle linkage for use on the V8 esp if yours is a carby V8
your radiator may or may not have provision for the transcooler. what gearbox do you have at present ? Auto selector can be positioned easy enough , IIRC there is a couple of different length of selector cable . HTSH

We had a 110 in a few weeks back with the electronic 4HP auto box in with Ashcrofts Compushift kit fitted. Impressive because you can map all the shift point to suit your conversion.
