I assume they do the job with no problem?! would it be better to use a diesal one or v8 on lpg?!

cheers

its all good, a rrc will tow better than anything outside the landrover brand, and pretty much identical to the rest of the brand

Never had a problem with mine, caravans & boat trailers, single & twin axle. 1986 EFi V8 on LPG.

i much prefered the manual discovery over the rrc auto for towing, better power delivery.

This was for towing a 1500KG caravan

V8...auto
Doisel....manual

ive removed me V8 and popped in tdi cos the v8 dont like the pull away on clutch.on auto v8 is good.it does eat clutch on heavy starts so ive gone doisel cos i do alot of hill start and like a manual.

v8's autos may have power but crap for towing :D

yes i agree but they are nice off road wiv skanky trailer weighin 4 ton:D:D
I just found the V8 manual ate clutch when pullin outt fields and specially reversing the trailer when ya cant push it in.
I reckon tdi manual will sort my needs for slow speed power.
