My freelander TD4 03 wont start i have been told it is most likely the alarm imoboliser switch BUT i dont know where to locate it???? Help please

bit more info. . . .like doe's it click when you turn on starter ,are your ignition lights on, is your battery flat,??? as far as the imobiliser is concerned , dont think there is a reset or anyfink. . . . .
