it will start but is sluggish to start from cold and warm my thought is the fuel is dropping back i cant find any leaks any help appreciated cheers

if it is a diesel it probably has a faulty injector.

Had a similar prob with my Freelander L series 2:0ltr TD. I found the fuel was running back. It was the non return valve in the fuel hand priming 'bulb'. New bulb complete with non return valve, job sorted.
