As some of you know, I have been having trouble with my central locking.I think the Fob is at fault but have no way to prove it. I contacted a key refurbisher, who has supplied me with another key blade ,to hopefully use (My immobilizer is disabled using Nanocom) the car has been working fine up until I tried the new blade in the door. IT WOULDN`T unlock the door so I used my old key, However the central locking is not now working and the engine is showing DISABLED, press remote (which does nothing) If I enter the EKA code using the Nasnocom nothing changed and it will not accept the EKA through the door lock ( indicators used to flsh and now dont. Can anyone help Ps sorry for the long post.

You opened the door after 2 failed attempts with the EKA? Mind you, if the door ajar switch isn't getting through then that might be acting up too.

Rick used to say try using the sill locking as well as turning the key (window open!) when entering the EKA. Might be worth a try. Think entering the EKA through Nanocom only works on later BECMs (v37 and above?)

The door locks are refurbed units so should be good. When I enter eka with Nanocom and hit "disarm" it says BECM has returned it to armed " or something like that

@tarphenry it sounds to me as if your BECM has had enough of being fiddled with and has possibly gone into some kind of lock-down state.
If it has, you probably now need the services of @Rick-the-Pick or @martyuk to get it to behave itself again.
If you have already been talking to it nicely with a Nanocom and it has not sorted it, then there is something awry indeed.
I turned off all security for a chap near me so that he could get his P38 to fire up again and sort out doorlocks and fobs and the like later.

You could well be right about the BECM.

Yes ,I am beginning to think that myself. I believe marty has a bit of kit that will sort the alarmed state whilst it is in the car ,that he hires out,but I cant find that info at the moment

It can be done with Faultmate if you have the very expensive direct access software module

I think that is a Synchmate to re-synch Engine ECU and BECM. This is possibly something different.

Do you know of anywhere near Manchester who can do this ? both the ones mentioned are dahn sath

Even worse I think @martyuk might be out of the country again at the moment with work.

What happens if you re-enable the alarms and so forth with the nanocom and then try entering the code with the key? Could it be a connector between the lock and the BECM that isn't working?

It could be anything to be honest.I think its a becm trouble though. I buggered about a lot yesterday and I think I have just upset it. I promised it 2 new tyres this morning but its still sulking

PAM V36 and above.

Its a M/Y 99 so should be above that ( need to remove seat to read)

Should be one would think. See BECM instructions. Entering EKA code via Nanocom seems to have been updated and incorporated into a BECM disarm function. Have you got the latest updates loaded?

Possibly not, my computer savvy. Is it easy to upgrade

You will have to log in to Nanocom site to download latest up dates. Check first though what your unit is at now. Then follow instructions if up date is needed.
