hi i've been lurking around this forum for sometime now and never felt nor had to need to join until now. i'm disgusted than the one whom calls himself sixpot can get away with defacing the union flag in the way that he has. is it not enough that the war monger known as bush can use the British Army as he sees fit but now we have to endur the union flag being placed inside the yank flag. i think we should ask sixpot to replace his icon with something less insulting.

mm! i've had a look at sixpot's avatar and i have to agree with mr bull it is a bit of a liberty to do this. what do other think??
 
Poor bloke can't work out whether he's British or Amebeian. But who the **** am I to tell someone what they can have as an avatar I've got more to worry about like what shall I change my signature to.
 
Hmmm. Try Googling "Grand Union Flag". You'll find it's very much a real flag - the first flag of the USA. It was flown by George Washingtons Army at a time when the people of the 'new' United States still felt immense loyalty to Great Britain, despite the war.

As somebody who has emigrated here, is looking to stay, yet feels wholly British, I feel an enormous empathy with this. I also like the fact that this very special flag shows a historical link with the past of what are both great countries despite the moronic actions of Bush and the Poodling of Blair. If anyone is offended by this I apologise deeply but I suspect a little research on your part would go a long way.

2nd. I quite like that flag! Very now and upto date. Rather that than the EU flag.

3rd. Stick to what you got GRUNT, it's to the point!
