.... Is the last thing you want anywhere near a vehicle - it holds water, and will rot everything happily - no wonder main stealers were so happy to apply it .......
The topic has been done to death on here - there are two companies who make good corrosion prevention products - essentially "waxes", and they are Bilt Hamber and Dinitrol. BH's website has technical info about their world beating salt spray test results, where they completely annihilate the competition. I use both because Dinitrol do high temp products, and IIRC, BH do not. IME modern waxoyl is utter rubbish ( which is a shame as it used to be good ).

Wax oyl is good but you want to mix it with clean oil

The man above has hit the nail on the head. Only way I’d apply under seal is ontop of epoxy primer. It’s a rust accelerant!!

There are specialists that will treat you car professionally, starting with a steam-clean & drying process, then spraying/injecting the underside & cavities.
Sadly they are outnumbered by the many cowboys out there, beware of any outfit than will do the job whilst you wait
