Hi All, was catching up with the ‘What ya done on the FL today’ Fred and came across Nodges’ mention of Bonda primer. I’ve quite a bit of caliper paint in BRG and wondered about using the Bonda and the BRG over it. I was initially thinking of Lanogarding underneath but then remembered the BRG paint needs using. Does anyone know if Lanogard can be painted over before I buy any. Their website doesn’t mention either way so maybe it’s a no-no.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Michael.

That’s a possibility. I need to decide whether I want Lanoguard protection or bling BRG underbody.👍🏻
If you do go for lanoguard (I'm planning to try it) they recommend giving it another go over 2 months after the 1st coat, then top up yearly. Some people don't and they moan about bits wearing off 👍🏻

I think lanoguard or dinitrol etc is way to go if you've already got surface rust because its meant to continually treat it and work its way underneath the rust. If you do paint are you planning on using a rust encapsulator first?

Be less phaffing around and possibly cheaper to replace any rusty bits - or indeed the whole car.
