Nice. I managed to jam some skinny shock-washers on (5mm?) and they seemed to work but these are much more robust.

I managed to get some small nyloc stainless nuts threaded onto the studs when I looked under my P38 when I had it and the shields had partly come adrift. They cut their own threads and were rock solid when nipped all the way up.

Last of the big spenders! You can get a whole pack for about a quid, albeit a bit tight.

These are probably a bit more rust tolerant though.

A small jam jar or old tobacco tin then. :D:D

Got both! Never throw anything away without first removing all screw / bolts and putting in a jar. Bits of old wire ... I've got the lot - except what we needed at the weekend which was a new prop-shaft bolt!

Of course, there's so much crap in there I can never find what I'm looking for!

This is the problem. You buy more than you need, have to store them for years, and then can't find them the day you do need them, or you've decided you'll never need them, and cleared them out 48 hours previous to needing them.

Know exactly what you mean. :);)
