Hi all.

In my 61 88" I have stoeadge under the pasanger seat but as it has comfey non landrover seats I canot get in to it. Is there just a single skin on the front of the box. This would allaw me to poot a door in there.

Hope someone can help.

yep a few people have done that, so long as you dont saw through a chassis member theres no reason why you cant do that, you just need to fill the hole at the bottom if it isnt allready.
I saw a landy where the owner had just jigsawed a hole in the underseat forward panel and put edging strip around it, never bothered with a door, looked ok to me.

unfortunately or fortunately? West Kirby is not the west of Kirby in liverpool but a small town on the poninsuler of wirral. witch to confuse things is west of liverpool. well west south west actually.

Think yer thinkin of Kirkby.
Anyway , I cut a hole in the front of my seatbox on the drivers side of the 110 and put some trim round it. It's been ok and dead handy for storing tools etc.

yup, i did that, cut it open then wascgoing to put a door on but dont need one works fine as is + made bolting seats down easy!
