the last ones I bought was 5 years ago 225 55 17 101W rapid P609 XL they have always been a bit noisy,
I was thinking of getting something more expensive can any one advise me please. I am hoping pull a caravan about 1000 miles next month

Michellins cross climate 2, mine have been in deep snow, floods and mud and been brilliant. Lifetime warranty.

+1 for the Michelins, if you would like an alternative then Vredestein Quadrac are excellent as well.

If they're anything like the Crossclimate 1s that I have, absolutely. Their volume is reasonable. Though like Whisky, I got them to keep myself upright in ice and snow. No idea what they're like when towing

I had the ones on a front wheel drive focus, didn't slip on the 60 miles from Glencoe to crainlarich
