cooper discovery stt 265,s will they be ok with standard width arches what they like for rubbing on inside anyone know cheers

tried the search but nothing about discovery's .that's why i asked different makers seem to make tyres of a certain size and some fit ok others don't .
but thanks for the advice anyway

they wont catch the arches but you'll need 30mm offsett to stop them rubbing on the radious arms

cheers . 90 is lifted anyway was more worried about rubbing inside. wheels on offer with the tyres have 30 mm offset. normally use 235's so just wanted to know how much hassle it could bring before i ordered them

265's are fine on a standard 90 so should be even better on a lifter one - i have 265's on mine no probs! Sorry, woulda saved you all the hassle if i'd spotted it earlier, was too busy talkin wine!
 
I had 265/70/16 on me 90 no Lift on deepdish steel modulars. and never needed any spacers?? yes they rubbed on full lock but I simply turned the wheel slightly the other way when I heard em rub. and that seemed to cure the problem. :doh: I suppose I could have altered steering stops. but couldn't be arsed with it.

Mine are on **** boost alloys which i think are not very deep so should be OK!
