:( This may or may not turn out to be a stupid question.......
I have lifted my 90 by 2 inches, and I wanna put 35-12.5x15 tyres on.
Will they go on without problems on the back and front ?, or could I put the slightly smaller 33-12.5x15 on the front?. I dont know if you can put different sizes on the front to the back, will it cause problems with diff etc. Any help and guidance would be appreciated.

It wont be great under normal use, ur center differential will be spinning alot. If u then lock up the center diff, ur gona be in trouble as u will be putting some serious strain on the transmission.

Thanx, so mixing sizes is a no no, wot about the 35's all round are there any problems that you know of ?

If it doesent hit the arches it shouldent be a problem, baring in mind the steering, but with the 2+ it should be ok. Bigger diamiter wheels will change the overall gear ratio and ur speedo will under read a little.
 
Don't mix sizes, if you engage diff like that you will create wheel spin in wet muddy conditions because you will be sending equal power to front and back, and the different sizes will cause the smaller ones to spin, or on a good surface rip diffs, UJ's etc... apart.

35's are going to be okay on your body work if you are lifted but here a few things to think about:

- They will hit your radius arms at full lock on the front
- Your gearing is going to be raised, motorway work is impaired, I lost 10mph off the top in fifth with a 200TDi.
-alot more strain on the engine, worth thinking about if you have a 2.5TD or an old 200TDi
-Your going to need wider rims with more offset.

Devon 4x4 helped me out a bunch when I decided to go for bigger tyres, I ended up with 33'' Khumos instead of 35'' BFG's. They have improved my landy no end but I have to work the box alot more, and my top speed has dropped from about 80 to 70 mph.
 
Thanks for that, will the 30mm spacers that i have stop the front wheels hitting the radius arms ??

Should do, you can also adjust your bump stops. Its only at full lock anyway, so really only a problem parking and around town. Off road you will be going too slowly at full lock to notice.

Spacers will also help your soon to be appaling turning circle, my 110 on 33's is now officially an oil tanker on wheels.
 
Once again many thanks, im fortunate that my future oil tanker is the short wheel base version so should be slightly better.

My 10.5" wide tyres rub on the radius arms slightly, so 12.5" rubber definately would!
On the other hand, it would look pretty cool!
 
I AM PUTTING THEM ON 10 X 15 RIMS WHICH APPARENTLY HAVE A BETTER OFFSET AND MOVE THE TYRE OUT, SO WITH THE 30 MM SPACERS ASWELL I HOPE I WONT HAVE ANYTHING CATCHING, FINGERS CROSSED EH ! THO I MAY HAVE TO EXTEND THE ARCHES SLIGHTLY FOR THE M.O.T.

My 12.5's dont rub at on the radius arms even at full lock.

TomE-maybe check your bump stops if your 10.5's are rubbing?

Arches are a nightmare, £120 odd quid a set and they are ugly as ****. I havnt bothered but you will get proper muddy without them. My 110 was literally brown from front to back (and the roof) just driving some gentle green lanes the other day.
