Hi i have a 300 tdi on a 1995 what is the best size for mud tyres to go on it ???? Any help would b good thanks

The general feeling is that the narrower the better as it helps grip if there's a small pebble or a snail the rubber can use to grip.

The advantage of a wide tyre is that if you loose grip in mud the tyre edge may catch on a nearby road

Slam on some 265 75 16's. You wont have to mod anything............the tyres will do it for you.
