I'm lifting my discovery2 2 inches and was wondering what would be the best option for a bigger size tyre to fill the arches on standard alloys. Was thinking 265/75/16 but would they catch? Also after a bit research the 265 or 255/70/16 could be a better choice due to cost.

Feck me, i thought the post said "I'm lifting my discovery 22" and...."

Time for new glasses or less beer.

Cheers. Checked out the sticky and it says for discovery1, will this be the same for the 2. Only reason is I have been told that for one o the tyres sizes which says body mods are needed on the link, no mods are needed for the 2.
And yes, new glasses sound essential!
