Hi running Kumho Road Aenture MT 205/ 80 /R16 on my Discovery 2
mostly on the road what is the best tyre pressure

As ever 'it depends' ...

OK, mostly on road, but fully loaded, empty with just a driver, towing a trailer etc. I'd suggest anywhere from 26/28 psi to maybe 36/38 .... to suit however you drive and whatever you do with the vehicle. A lot also depends on the stiffness of the tread and sidewalls. If you're worried, have a few drives under varying conditions and varying loads and different pressures, see what works for you.

Or, read the owners manual for loadings and pressures ...

+1 on what the other members have said.
The Disco 2 Owner's Handbook lists for normal loading, front 28psi, rear 38psi. For full or heavy loading, 28/46psi is recommended.
It's a good place to start the chalk test from.
N.B. These are the pressures given for the 2002 Disco 2. For the 2003 onwards Disco 2, the front pressures are increased to 30psi.

30 all round empty another 10 in the back when loaded, or just do as most people do and never check them ever!
205 does sound a bit small for the disco?

I like 40 psi for every thing from a push bike up to my series 3. It saves having to remember or look up the setting for each thing I own with wheels. I think the only exception is my wheelbarrow.

And you wonder why nobody ever asks you to blow up the party balloons?
