The factory book states use a Tyre Pressure of 26psi, but on the Kumho website they recommend using a pressure of 44psi. The car is fitted with 195R15 100S AT Tyres, which pressure should I use.
Also, are these tyres ok for day to day use?
Thanks

44psi? yer avin a giraffe!
you sure that aint the maximum inflation presure?

somewhere between 26 and 30psi sounds about right.

44 does seem a tad high. think you need a bit of gentle trial and error, but running my synchrones at 33 psi, quiet ride, good grip

Think original manuals stated 26 but was increased at a later date to 30ish due to exessive tyre wear....most are running between 30 & 33 depending on particular tyres/loads etc 44 does seem very high for any motor

Me un uncle Willo runs at about 31 psi . . . .but 44 now thet is takin the **** e eyes :) :) :)

The handbook will be recommending the tyre pressure for factory fitted tyres - about as far from Kumho ATs as you can get!

LR chaged their tyre pressure recomendations later in the production run - IIRC to 28/30psi. We like our road tyres at 32psi and run our BFG ATs at 34psi - BFG suggest their tyres are run at manufacterer's recommendation plus 6psi.

Cheers

I spoke with Kumho today about this and they told me the pressure stated on the website was the maximum pressure. Shame they didn't mention that on the website.
Anyway, following the replies I think I'll run at about 31psi.
Thanks,
Hamish
