Hi all looking for some advice. Ideally from people with a auto with bigger tyres fitted.

Currently running 235/70/16 insa dakars. PerformAnce is good on road and works ok in mud. Looking to go bigger/wider i have two inch lift fitted and dont mind cutting wings and arches.

I do mainly road driving but when i go offroad its real boggy and needs mud terrains.

From everyones help on here i feel 265/75/16 may be my limit but will this be a problem with auto gearing.

Any advice guys?

Also kumho 71s or bfg km2s ?

I have 265 75 16s on my defender so should fit easily on the discovery without any cutting.

Still tops out at 85ish, so I guess it hasn't affected the gearing much (think I got that right).

If you do mainly road driving would go for AT tyres as I have some BFGs on mine and they were great a few weeks ago in mud.
