Hi,

I have done a search but can not find any similar problems. All the lights are flashing on the EAS switch but the suspensions works perfectly with no leeks. What could cause this?

The viscous fan blades deiceded too disintegrate breaking the radiator in the process is this a common issues.

Thanks,

All the EAS lights a flashing but no EAS fault message on the dash or the Up arrow illuminated? You need to get the free EAS software and read the fault codes. www.rswsolutions.com for the software and either make the lead or I can supply.

Errm soft fault???
As for the fan its not common but i have heard of it before my mates broke up at 80mph and put a right dint in the bonnet

Hi Datatek,

Indeed no error messages except for the EAS lights flashing. Please let me know the cost of sending me one of your cables.

Thanks!

Got the dent as well! What about replacing the viscous fan with two electric ones? Anyone done this?

Keep talking to DATATEK. He not only can supply the EAS software and lead (and I believe he downloads RAVE onto the disc as well but is too modest top mention it) but also does a wonderful modification to use the air-con fans as engine cooling.

:D

you can replace it with one big electric one or use the two smaller ones that are already there in front of and for the ac condenser. some people (Datatek again I think) have a fix to use those instead of the main fan. i'd say it might work fine in temperate northern europe but what's the climate like in panama? if you get mid to high 30s or 40s, if you're at high altitude or you often carrying loads or tow then just the ac fans on their own may not be sufficient.

The EAS cable plus a CD with the EAS software, my airbag replacement guide and RAVE is £11 plus P&P. Not sure what the P&P would be if you are in Panama, it's £3.91 for Europe.
PM me with an email address and I will send you the mod to use the aircon fans for cooling. They are more than up to the job on the diesel but I'm not sure how they would cope on a V8:)

It gets into the 30's here in SW France Rasheed and on the diesel the aircon fans cope well:)
