I have a Genuine LR DVD player in my 2004 discovery and wish to get a TV tuner set up, The dealer told me the hole with a black plastic plug in middle of the roof towards the back was for the TV.
But LR don't list a tv tuner as an accessory........well in Australia anyway??
just wondering if anyone else out there has done the same...and what set ups have been used??

Hi try looking at some of the tuners that you can get for your laptop you may be able to work something out this route cheers gazv70

tv reception requires two connectors on cars becouse of the directions you travel

my 2002 disco has them fitted to the rear windows

my advise stay away from landrover and goto your local car audio center

Hi i do know that the dvd players/monitors in the roof have an input and you are able to use it as a tv tuner you will be better to go to an audio shop and get them to fit an aftermarket tuner as landrover have never fitted 1 to the disco 2 only range rover and range rover sport,i have seen certain things on ebay but depends on what frequency you are on in oz fot tv reception,sorry cant help any more than that cheers tiga.
