Hello - I have a Defender 110 that has a (low turbo) Discovery 200 Tdi engine in it. The vehicle has large capacity Allisport intercooler in it. I want to optimise the turbocharger/intercooler combination by adjusting the fuel pump slightly, which I know how to do, and by adjusting the turbo waste gate. I think I have to shorten the waste gate by turning the connecting arm clockwise. Is that correct, and how many turns do I need to make? I don't want to overtax the engine, and think the optimum turbo pressure is 14.1 psi. Can someone verify this for me. Thank-you.
