I've searched the how to, the engine forum and a generic search. 50 pages and still not sure.
What weight oil does an L series 2 litre Freelander take and is there a recommended brand?
And I'm assuming it's a turbocharged unit?
I want to look after the car as best I can so new fluids and filters are this months paypacket expenses.
Ta very much

:D  I had a female friend fone me once & say. "The oil won't go in the filler it's running down the engine and all over the floor" I went round to discover she was trying to pour it down the dipstick tube.

Thanks for the polite replies. Any recommendation on brand?
My old cougar was very oil specific which is why I asked.
Or alternatively you could just flame the **** out of me again. It's great keyboard skills practice.
