I have to recon the garret T25 turbo from a 300tdi I would be interested to hear other peoples experiences of the job.
 
the problem is you have to remove turbines to get into bearing housing,replacing bushes and seals isnt hard and is probably all thats needed to make like new if turbine blade not damaged, if nut holding turbines is has flats ground into it it means assembly shaft and turbines have been balanced together you could try marking position and reachieving this later if isnt ground then refastening shouldnt effect balance ,i used to buy kits for overhaul ,but never sold any as darent take risk of someone elses motor ,but worth ago and you can test run turbo with pressure side pipe off to get rid of risk blades breaking and entering engine till happy it runs true
