hi i,m having the same problem there seems to be no umph with the engine its just a gradual pick up to speed no boost at all.I have done a little reading up on this today aand there seems to be 2 things it could be.1 IS the MAF air flow meter and the other is the turbo boost selenoid.Thing is with mine today i have had a bit of work done on the engine today to try cure a missfire.Ihave had new glow plugs fitted and the injectors out and cleaned the best you can without sending them away.I also had a new crank case filter fitted.now i,m just wondering if i run it for a few miles the ecu might remap itself .(i,m hoping) now everything is breathing and running betterWill this be the case ????

Im just gonna Try turbo boost solenoid an if it aint that gonna try changing the actuater on the turbo

hi, have u checked all the vacuum hoses that also go to the turbo actuator , have u checked the turbo actuator arm moves ok

have u checked out the freelander section as there's plenty of us over there who will try and help u,

has the fuel filter pump been replaced at any stage ,

done a bypass on the egr
air filter is that ok

cleaned out the inlet manifold

done a one wheel up vcu check , or a very basic way is to drive in reverse on full lock, should go back on tickover , to see if the vcu is locking up at all

this is just basics but please go to the freelander section where there is also a huge amount of info

hope that may help a little bit

Will try all the above gstuart I checked the hoses the ones on top seem fine but really need to remove bash guard underneath to see if theres any holes or splits in bottom hoses I cant see then if there all good ill test the actuator arm moves then turbo boost solenoid gonna be a fun day haha

no probs, if u remove the plastic air Inlet assembly and look at the engine, right hand side where the vacuum pump is , with the collection of 2-3mm vacuum hoses are, they touch the engine block and burn a hole in the vacuum hoses

been trying to find a picture for u , if u do a search for vacuum hoses will most properly find some

always happy to help and many others on here to
