yup - yu will blow yo injun to bits - fit a 200TDi if yu want more power - easily done - loads of write-ups on how to do it.
 
Actually nah there isn't as far as I know...I was just thinking along the lines of there isnt much difference between the 2.25 and the 2.5 Diesel and then they turbo'd the Diesel 2.5...but then again the early 2.5 TD was prone to issues so no doubt if you turbo'd a 2.25 then you may have the same issues!
 
From memory piston & head, and neither were really up to the job, and the block was different to allow the opal feed & return to the turbo.
