Hi

Thought I'd treat my engine to a new head and turbo core due to age / dodgy head gasket / wear etc and found the exhaust side casting of the turbo to be cracked in a couple of places. The first place is on the mounting face where the core's heat shield sits and the second place is inside the casting at the hottest point.

Does anyone know if this is common and if they are ok to continue using? I found an exhaust side on ebay, zoomed in on the picture and it looks as if this has a cracking at the mounting face too.

I've tried to attach a pic of mine, I hope it works!
