Here are a few pictures of my swb tub. I’ve removed the cross members and need to replace a couple of the top hat sections. You’ll also see some of the edge lips are pretty messed up. What’s the best way to sort these out? Also the big crease in the section below the striker plate? Thanks.

Mine was worse than yours, looks like you need to replace floor too , I bought some aluminium of correct spec and oversize so it bent up at sides 30mm so it could poprivet onto sound sides
I went to aluminium supplier to buy top hat and stuck it on with fancy araldite with new cross members this lasted about 10 years before the bond stated to peel so redid with rivets as well, if interested Can you pm me with email I’ll send some info through

Mine had extra reinforcing angles made of steel fitted by the army. Over 50 years these had corroded and pushed the tub sides out. On one side they had broken through. I got them out, cleaned it up, put ally angles in then flush rivetted a patch. It wan't possible to set the partch flush as it was over a seam, but it has chamfered edges and now its painted its hardly visible.
