Looks like its changed colour it was white, same engine size tho , thought it would be still about as I put it on new galv chassis

it must have had a hard life if it's orginal chassis only lasted about 10 years ?

yes IIRC it was late 70 early eighties, rear crossmember was u/s , I think it was launching dive boat into sea . I had to do a rebuild in two months as i had a offer I could not refuse for the landrover I had at time.
New gen LR chassis , had it hot dip galvanised. New HD springs,new 1 ton braking system , rebuilt gearbox, with fairey OD , 4.1 diffs, FC rims, V8 engine, hydraulic winch. with bottom pto pump Suspension seats. Roof rack series 3 front wings with lhd headlamps in wings and rhd headlamps in center rad panel . delux dished bonnet with spare wheel mount Exterior sunvisor with Cibie super oscars on front of roof rack complete respray in police white. Lot of work
