I need lockable storage for my 90 truck cab.
Something that I can store tools,air pump,recovery items.

I was thinking of some kind of aluminium box to bolt to the top of the wheel wells.

Any thoughts?

Thats what i did, bought some ex military ammo boxes, bolted onto the tub either side. Haven't put padlocks on...not a lot of crime here..but soon will as i'm off to Blighty.

How about something like this?
Defender alloy tub storage box Land Rover 90 110 4x4 on eBay (end time 28-Mar-11 23:12:35 BST)

Could make your own!

I've seen those..i laughed...a lot...at the price! My ammo boxes costed 6 or 8 quid i believe.

Me too - why i suggested making your own. I'm sure someone made a drawer on here out of an old foot locker.
