Hi I am fitting ge glass back into my series 3 truck cab. Does anyone have any itting instructions which will help? Thanks

For sliding rear insert bottom outside channel hard up against the outside edge and screw in. A lot (lots) of pressure on the screws so they don’t burr. Place top outside channel on outside pane and side panel into bottom channel. Screw in top hard against outside, on one side of pane, then slide across and screw in other side. Repeat with other channels and panel. Just make sure you get panels and catches in the right order, so they latch.
For 3/4 you need a special tool to insert the locking strip, and use lots of soapy water spray to lubricate. Took me over and hour to do the first one. Yet to pop out though.

On this topic, is there a better channel than the traditional felt and steel? It rots out very fast in my experience.

Tried that, the felt unstuck from the steel. Tried waxoil. Didn't last.

I now have moss growing in the window.

I think I'll try the series 3 club runners.

Can't. DEFRA have notified me that the back window is now a protected habitat. I need a licence from them detailing plans to re-home the moss prior to the commencement of any works.

I was caught on camera:

They've set up AMPR (automatic moss plantation recognition) on all country roads around here.

You could try uprooting the moss and replanting it in another location, it seemed to work for the Chinese.
