Hi all ,about 2 months ago I got myself a Land Rover Defender now I have this bug that I do t you think I will recover from .
It's a 53 plate defender 90 TD5 hard top ,and could do with some advice if some one would be so kind to help....
I got some puma sliding windows for the back, and the plan was to fit them myself .
It was due a MOT so as it was going in I thought I would get extra bits done, new windscreen seal and windscreen company could put the windows in the back.
Well local garage said he new a company that did them as then they would be bang on ,this did not turn out to be the case .
The job is shocking ,front screen is fine side windows have been fitted to low right to the bottom of the panel,to much silicone so it's pushed out and some one run round with a wet finger then stopped probs thinking I'm making a dogs dinner of this.
I feel like ripping the sides out and getting new ,but for now does any one have any tips on how to sort the silicone mess without scratching the paint ,any advice would be much appreciated.
