it's about a grand over priced - fitting a ex genny engine in a landy is just daft - unless your wanting to plod along at 30 all day towing a house

Aye silly money.....I was thinking more of the
"If this vehicle has not been sold before the end of January, it will have to be scrapped"
At that money it's not gonna sell

If he's gonna scrap it might as well take it off his hands for a couple of quid, if the engine is any good for it's orignal application should get a few quid for it and wack in a disco lump!

thats a big heavy feck off lump of an engine - there's a lad up the road that's got the mazda version in a classic and it's doing 12 to the gallon, he's looking to put a zoozoo in as he can't get parts for it these days

i bet the engine bay of that 110 had to be chopped about to get it to fit

i'd give him a tenner for the beacons

If I had the space, and could get it for £500, I'd buy it and break it.
But I aint.......

If he's that keen to sell it why the feck doesn't he list it as a proper auction without reserve. He's talking ****e. Tain't worth anywhere near what he's askin thetre.

Might be able to convince the Mrs to let me have a bit of drive space......depends wos worth havin off it I spose, Like Sean said beacons might be the best bit!

to be fair - there's a 100 quids worth of roof rack on it and if the engine is the newer Mazda modified version of the Perkins thing that's worth probably 400 quid plus there's the adaptor kit which is still 350 quid from MD Eng - and it does look quite an honest landy so i still think 1500 would buy it

think me opening offer would be 500 quid and a portion of chips
