Half way up a mtn. the other wk. & a friend got his disco 3 stuck
so Ihad to reverse my D2v8 about 300 mtrs.in to get a tow line on to the front of the d3.
Put her in low radio 2nd gear and draged him round & out,no problem,but had a job to get the box back into high ratio. Driving it started klonking,so stopped & tried shifting the H-L shift in & out---thats when the cable snapted.It took acouple of hrs.& about 40 mossy stings to disconnect the cable from the transfer box & get it in to high ratio. Not the best place to work is it?
Can anywone tell me what the part number is for the cable.----Transfer gear box range selector cable.
