is there a difference between a 110 v8 transferbox and a 90 v8 transfer box. when i bought my origional v8 90 the geezer told me that the origional transfer box was cluncking so he bought a recon new one but the only one he could get was a 110 v8 which he wreckoned has a shorter ratio than the 90 box. later while he still owned it he found a transfer box for a 90 bought it but never fitted it. when i bought the car he gave me it. on the deisels im sure its the other way round ratio wise. just want to know if they are different so i dont have to take it off to count the teeth to find out its the same or the opposite to wot he told me. if anyone could help pls

on the back below the output shaft cover next to the handbrake there should be a sticker saying what ratio it is. should be 1.4
If no stickers look at the serial number in the same place and check them with ashcrofts website. its the first 3 digits you want. 28E for example.
