Hi i was wondering if anybody could give me some advise,
I have a Range Rover classic 1993 L reg 3.9 efi auto,
and the Auto diff lock on the transfer box is locked in and it
was winding up the transmission, so i have taken the front prop shaft off
for now, the thing is has anybody converted an auto diff locking transfer box
to a manual one, and what would i need to convert it over and is it a big job,
or should i just get a reconditioned unit,
i was just going to just get the Viscous Coupling from ashcroft
but i think the transmission wind up has done some damage to the box as there is a noticeable whine and it seams to be coming from the transfer box and there is a lot of play when i have had the RR up on axle stands
