hi guys, im new to the forum, and have a common issue with my 200tdi disco, cannot engage low gear or neutral, suspect the grub screw has come loose, or maybe fallen out, im a mechanic by trade so have no problems doing the work etc, but i have very little time off so i have given my self a couple of hours next thursday to sort it out, so i need a little info so i dont come up against any issues,

now.... eventually the question is, if the grub screw falls out entirly, can it fall into the box and be drained out with the oil in a previous service and lost forever?? or is there anything stopping it fallng into the box? if the first option is true then i will get a new screw bofore i carry out the repair.??!!?? does any one have a picture looking down into the box with the selector cover removed? as this would be a great help? many thanks stu
