Hi , just bought SD4 HSE .. Auto 2011 . I’m looking at buying a caravan Bailey Senator Wyoming twin axle .. Was wondering if anyone has the same outfit and how does the Freelander tow and cope with this caravan thanks

Any Land Rover will tow a caravan better than most things on the market
My own MK1 tows excellent
1910kg over 200m effortlessly in May

I (allegedly) towed a yacht, on it's 4 wheel trailer from the east coast of Scotland to the west. Yacht's displacement around 3 tons. My FL2 hardly noticed other than the mpg dropped dramatically and braking became a bit of a white knuckle moment.
Towing a caravan within the legal weight limit? No problem.
