Hey Guys,

I have bought a rolling 2B chassis with cab and its situated in Grantham in lincolnshire, and i am based in Glasgow.

Do you guys reckon that sitting on a Ifor Williams 16ft flat bed trailer being towed by a Discovery 3 it'd be safe to get it to Glasgow?

Any thoughts appreciated.

yes, no problem as long as you secure the 101 and you don't drive like an immigrant with the cops on his tail ;)
 
No not yet old chap, I've been feckin about with me halfshafts and I think were off to the pub in a bit. I've found it I just need to register.

thats a relief!!

Was a bit worried about the police maybe thinking that it was unsafe or something like that. Just gotta get the new Disco run in before i go and pick it up now!

the trip down will run it in then the trip back will set it up to go like fook for the rest of its life ;)

Gonna try and get it weekend after next i think.
need to get me trailer first, its sitting at the dealer waiting to be collected!
Time always seems to be against me.

Is it me you were asking where i am on the Island?

i'm going to try and get the straps with the D loops in them to go over the wheels.

And then just some heavy duty straps to hold the rest of it in general.
