Here we have a days greenlaning around Torbay in February.

A group of lucky winners will get the opportunity to traverse some of the most scenic and very orange coloured green lanes that Torbay has to offer.

Also you will experience plenty of the blue rinse brigade pointing at the convoy of vehicles passing through the seaside mecca that is Torquay.

We'll also be passing close by to the famous Dartmoor national park too.

So what are you waiting for.......no italian navigators need apply, simply add your name...:D :D

If there are any more let us know and i'll look at the route and see if it's viable for more than 6.

Also if you got a cb, makes sure its working :D If not, dont worry ;)

I will add the route does have some interesting lanes, you are likely to get a scratch or 2 if you're lucky and go at some odd angles if you're not ;)

Ta muchly, ill be bringing missus beard aswell then :D

Good on ya, are we likely to see some confetti still in the Landy when you arrive ;)

F*&king confetti, theres a **** pile in the landy and white paint pen on the windows! Windolene just makes it worse by the way when getting it off.

I found confetti in my boxers aswell FFS! I mean how did it get there!?

Gonna knock this on the head as my work pattern has changed now & I've not got the time, sorry folks.

I'm still up for it. If anyone has a route in mind if not I can see if my club has a route they have used, I know they have one that starts at Taunton and ends in Cullompton but have not driven it Myself yet. Failing that I can try and piece something together on memory map. But not living in that area would make reconnaissance before the date unfeasable. Let me know what you think or any ideas you may have.

Ill be up for it to, providing I can get me landy roadworthy again (fuel probs) :(
on holiday atm make more concrete plans this weekend, still up for it though:D

Think I could have something. Start Newton Abbot area heading toward Totnes and then across to Ashburton for a bit of lunch. And then an afternoon from Bovey Tracey toward Chagford and back to Drewsteignton and then Bovey again if time allows. I must stress I have not driven some of the lanes so don't know the condition of them or how much paint will be left on the vehicles but if it's impassible we can just skip it and move on. Choice is your's. I will be joining them up together printing and scanning them so I can e-mail them to any one still willing to give a go. That way you should have an Idea of the route. On the day I will have my laptop with me with memory map on it. I have crossed referenced most of the route already with google maps (probably not the best idea) and most of the tracks do seem drivable. This is the best I can come up with at short notice. I've tried to implement some climbs and know that there is at least two fords to cross which you won't need a snorkel for. I'll keep working on it.

Good work.

Obviously we need to check the legality of these lanes aswell. Living in brum i cant get to the council to view the definitive map but if zumerset have an online one i dont mind checking some out for you. im not working until later in the month so not got much else to do. :D

All the lanes I have found are either BOAT or Other route's with publis aaccess. I think Devon has got a site with them on. I'll be off to work soon so will look again tomorrow. If you do look and find some let me know the wharabout and I'll see if I've got em.
