Hi all,
I have just bought a 1995 Disco 3.9 v8i (aircon) with LPG.
Seems to be running OK, except that whatever position the heating controls are set at it blows hot air. Engine comes up to temp and stays at normal.
Could it be the air recirculation flap solenoid?

Have you checked the cable from the heater control is actually moving the heater controls on the box?

Just browsed your post - not familiar with the Disco set-up (I have a RRC) but doubt it's the 'flap' as all that does is affect the air-flow, much more likely to be the temperture control cable not regulating the water flow through the heater matrix.

You have an air blending system but when both controls are set to COLD, 2 micro switches are closed and operate a vacuum valve which close the coolent valve, check that the valve is closing.. no operating cable involved.
