Nah my boots made of metal still :eek: its coated in an inch of waxoyl so wont be rotting anytime soon hopefully! I don't store wet stuff in the boot either ;)

The gaylander in black was bottoming out a bit though due to the front splitter

Tigger did admit though that on the Grizedale track he wouldn't attempt it in anything less than my disco :p this proves gaylanders cant cope on offroad tracks ;)

I'll be on the Grizedale one next weekend so will get a proper vid of it :) its very challenging

haha well they had fun! The black one was a hire car upgrade and Tigger got me back…….he was leading the group and hit every single puddle he could. I was constantly cleaning mud and water off me windscreen :p

One thing I will give the gaylander though is they do have decent handling!

I nearly shat meself going down that road at the start! once we started making our way down it I found out how **** my turning circle really is :eek: was very close to the sheer drops

last time i went up Stanage in me mates 90, i actually opened the door to jump out on several occasions.

it were v slippy and the wheels slid sideways a lot :eek::eek:

if it weren't me main car, and only one, i'd give it a go.
just to see if i could do it, even wi a defender you still got to pick your route through the bumpy bits, i recken it'd be challenging in a Freelander.:eek::eek:;)

Yeah I know but its much easier when you've got the ability too ;) full low range helps a lot


Well I'll be attempting to find the Coniston one that goes through some tarns, if that ones alright clearance wise I'll give you a shout.
