To Portugal on leaf springs for charity
A few friends and i are planning to take a "leafs only" road trip to portugal later next year and raise money for help for heroes, the vehicles are as follows
1974 series 3 88" van.fitted with a discovery 200TDI, galvinised chassis, bulkhead and front panel. parabolic springs and pro-comp shocks
1969 series 2a 88" hardtop. fitted with a Perkins Prima engine original chassis and bulkhead standard suspension
1966 series 2a 88" safari roof. fitted with a 5 main bearing 110 2.3 unleaded petrol enbgine fitted with an SU Carb original chassis replacement bulkhead and standard suspension range rover diffs
1961 series 2 88" van. fitted with original 2.25 3 main bearing petrol engine with solex Carb original chassis and bulkhead (requires welding)
we're planning on driving over to a freinds house out there. i'm keen to keep my 110 enginre fitted as its so sweet but has anyone got any worthhile upgrade suggestions for us. also any advice and tips will be greatly appriciated.
