So the time is coming when the P38 must go. It has been a magnificent workhorse, has performed everything that has been asked of her. She has been incredibly reliable.

So how come the instant I need to sell her to finance my series 3 project, she develops a noisy tappet, starts leaking coolant from the heater matrix and the cheque book symbol appears?

There logically must be three undocumented sensors.

We know that all vehicles respond to TLC; that's a given.
My P38 knows that I need the money, so the panic sensor is definitely there, and it's linked to the disloyalty sensor.

Or do you think she's sulking?

Sounds reasonable. Could there be a complacency sensor or similar on there too? As soon as I think I've sorted all issues and can relax I hear something a little out of place.
