Bought Land Rover defender 300tdi still has the original timing belt housing and have been told to change it to the conversation kit housing how Important is this also have tried to get one but they are now obsolete does anyone know where to obtain one

i wouldn't bother unless you start eating belts.

Was there any difference in the timing cases, or was it just a new straight one.

i think it's slightly different.. but i'm just remembering that.. could be totally wrong
