I have a 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 which needed a new alternator. Hubby has got that replaced but cannot find a diagram anywhere of how the timing belt fits back on. Does anybody know where we'd find a link to a diagram or can explain how it should fit?
Many thanks.

It would be the auxiliary belt not the timing belt, pull back the tensioner and remove the old belt, photo of it's route below.

I found it in the manual.
It had me stumped for a while too, although mine was off for some months while other work was being done.
It's definitely a very windy route it takes, which isn't immediately obvious.
