New to this community, having valued the various advice and posts over the past couple of years of owning a 2004 L322 TD6. Usual gripes and niggles, but now its make or break - do I invest in keeping her going or break (several) piggy banks and go for a later model. Reality kicking in on just how bloomin' complicated these things are - not least that a single problem can have several seemingly unrelated causes.

Starting point is Xenon headlights - how do I know whether its the cable or the module that needs replacing (done the obvious swap the bulbs over and they both work)? Looks like the module is side specific. Lamp would occasionally 'flicker' and then go off. Switch off and on again usually cleared this fault (which has been going on for a couple of years). Now dead on driver side.

I will try and ask questions only where they have not already been answered, but I can't promise not to ask the 'newbie' question and make a prat of myself now and then. Be gentle with me!

Cheers

David
