although i love my l322 i am beginning to hate my business partners one, having just replaced the near side front arm it has now developed a thumping noise when driving coming from the front near side which of cause wasn't there before i replaced the arm anyone have a clue either whats causing the noise or what i may have done to cause it

he wouldn't know the danger est end of a spanner, ive double checked the work on the arm and thats not the problem

the arm only has a bush one end and a ball joint the other, ive just taken it for a drive, sound more like something rubbing to me but cant see anything touching

definitely some thing to do with rotation of shaft or wheel, the question now is what or how can simply changing the arm could cause something to rub?

Have you bent the brake disc back plate and its rubbing Guess jack it up and spin the wheel and don't forget the axle stands stay safe.
