Had Clutch Fitted On My 2000 Freelander.noise Has Got Worse.dip The Clutch And The Noise Goes What You Think.

think thrust bearing would only make noise while clutch pedal is actually in the process of being pushed in, and not once it is all the way to the floor or all the way out if you can understand that, had it before and it was kind of like a gentle "whoop" sound that got quieter as the car warmed up

sold the car before I had to worry about it

Yep classic case of bearing.

The clutch arm presses tight against it when the clutch is depressed, therefore keeping slack to a minimum...... no noise

Wouldnt worry about it unless noise is really bad. Means a gearbox or engine out job and you might as well replace the clutch plate when doing this due to labour costs or do a DIY.

Do a search for clutch in this section

back pages of LRO magazine this month have all about clutches (workshop special)

might be worth £3.80 for a read
