Hi all, is the throttle position sensor spring loaded. I have a 2002 Freelander 1.8 petrol. Had problems with the 3 amigos.

I think it's spring loaded, but it's unlikely to be the cause of the 3 amigo's. You're best getting the codes read.

Thanks for your reply, since disconnecting cleaning and refitting it seems to have cleared it. Could it have been a bad connection.
